/ ʻō.lepo.lepo /vs., Somewhat dirty, murky, sullied; to sully. Figuratively, to offend.
- Examples:
- A kāhiko nohoʻi nā makaʻāinana i ʻole e ʻōlepolepo nā maka o ke aliʻi ke nānā mai (Kep. 165), the commoners were dressed up so as not to offend the eyes of the chiefs who might look upon them.
- ʻŌlepolepo ka ʻōpū, the stomach is out of order, needs cleansing.
