Alapaʻi
iʻoa | proper noun- Coastal area, Kamalō qd., north Molokaʻi, probably named for Alapaʻinui, leader of the Hawaiʻi forces that invaded Maui in 1738 and combined with the Molokaʻi forces to defeat Oʻahu invaders. See Kawela.
- Street on the boundary between downtown and Thomas Square sections, Honolulu, Oʻahu, named for a chiefess who was a companion of Nāahiʻenaʻena (daughter of Kamehameha I) and the wife of John Young II.
