Beach, South Kohala, Hawaiʻi. Large pocket of calcareous sand with low vegetated dunes in the backshore. The beachfront estate above this secluded beach was for many years the home of Lurline Matson Roth, daughter of Captain William Matson, the founder of the Matson Navigation Company. Literally, wilted grass.
