Zombies

In 1959, surfers from Kailua rode the waves on this shallow reef for the first time and named it Zombies Rock Garden for fun. Horror movies creating zombie awareness started with Zombies on Broadway in 1944 and continued through the 1960s with cult classics like the Night of the Living Dead, starring Duane Jones and Judith OʻDea in 1968.
