Native pink hibiscus (Hibiscus youngiamus), found most commonly in marsh land. It has few branches and grows to 7 feet or more. Also found in abandoned taro patches on all islands as, for example, Kapalama, Oahu. See ʻakiohala. (NEAL 560.)
