kālai pāhoa
Name of three woods (kauila, nīoi, ʻohe), believed to be the tree forms of two male gods (Kāne-i-kaulana-ʻula and Kahuila-o-ka-lani) and one goddess (Kapo). Small pieces of the woods and roots were used in black magic. The three trees were found in Mauna-loa, Molokaʻi. (PE.)
