A special prayer; a prayer used for a particular event, as the cutting of the piko of a new house (trimming the grass from over the door), the completion of a canoe, ending of the work on a new net, etc. Kuwa ka inoa o ia pule, Kuwa is the name of that prayer.
Prayer made when a new house was finished and grass over the door was trimmed. Such a prayer was used in the completion of a canoe.
