lauaʻe haole

n., A fern (Phlebodium aureum 🌐), hare's-foot fern, from tropical America, much like the lauaʻe, but with larger, dull light-green scentless fronds. First collected in Hawaiʻi in mountains of Kauaʻi (August, 1909), probably as an escape.
