1. nvs. Cuttlefish (Sepioteuthus arctipinnis). Fig., fickle, changeable, unsteady, so called perhaps because of the backward-forward movement of the cuttlefish. (PPN nguufeke, PCP muufeke.)
2. n. Mother-of-pearl lure, usually qualified as below, perhaps so named because the colors of the shell suggested those of the cuttlefish.
