1. n. Mule, donkey (Molokaʻi).
2. n. A card game; the player must follow suit in discards, and if he cannot, he draws from a pack; the object is to play all of one's cards, and the player left with a card at the end is the piula. Also kēkake.
3. vs. Tired, exhausted, worntify. Slang.
4. n. Pewter, tin (Nah 31.22), corrugated iron as used for roofing; any metal suggesting pewter. Eng. See pili piula. Wai piula, water from a faucet.
