Kōlea. The plover flies here, and when his breast is fat, returns, lele mai nō ke kōlea, ā kāpule ka umauma, hoʻi (of carpetbaggers and some white sojourners in Hawaiʻi). Plover eggs are in foreign places (UL 220), ʻo ka hua o ke kōlea, aia i kahiki. See sayings, kōlea.
